Urgent Help Needed for Lebanon
Emergency Appeal
Lebanon is facing a major crisis. Over 211,000 people, including 74,000 children, have been forced to leave their homes due to ongoing conflict. The number of displaced people has doubled in just 72 hours.
The situation is desperate. More than 78,000 people are living in crowded shelters, mostly in schools around Beirut and Mount Lebanon. These shelters are running out of supplies. Sadly, over 600 people, including 50 children and 94 women, have lost their lives in the past week, and around 1,700 are injured (as of Sep 27).

Schools across Lebanon are closed. The new school year has been delayed until October. The water system is also severely damaged, especially in Nabatieh, where 70% of water stations are not working, affecting hundreds of thousands of people.
Since September 23, Lebanon has experienced its worst violence since the civil war, with over 558 lives lost in one day due to airstrikes.
With hundreds of thousands of people displaced, thousands injured, and thousands of homes destroyed, Lebanon urgently needs help.
UK Care for Children is launching an emergency appeal to provide:
- Food Parcels
- Hot Meals
- Milk and Diapers for Children
- Blankets and Mattresses
