Wael is an elderly disabled man, who lives with his three young children and wife in Borj Al Shmali camp in Tyre area.

Four years ago, he suffered a brain stroke which resulted in him becoming mute, having to wear nappies and feed through enteral nutrition (a tube to the stomach).

Wael is one of our Elderly Sitter project beneficiaries, through which a volunteer visits him everyday to assist him with practical tasks that he cannot manage on his own and provide some comfort and joy in his difficult circumstance.

You donations provide dignity and care to the most vulnerable and elderly, thank you.
